The term "mobile" beauty salon is new to most people, but it's been around for many years. The jist of it is, you need salon services done but don't want to go to the salon, so a stylist comes to you. There may be a wedding, photo shoot, or you just don't like the salon atmsophere or can't get to your favorite salon during their hours. Most salon equipment comes in portable form so its easy to bring to any location.
Most celebrities or affluent people use this service to stay out of the spotlight or to just have privacy. Now we can all get what they have without paying the high prices. Lots of salons offer some mobile service to their clients for special occasions, but not full time. There is just not enough time in the day for a stylist, makeup artist, massage therapist, or nail tech to work at more that one location.
Luckily, San Antonio has Onyx mobile Beauty Salon that specializes in only coming to you. Appointments can be made over the phone as usual and payment can be made with the click of your mouse button. Even haircare products can be delivered to your door, there is a Web Store on theportapartyonline.com that allows you to order any amoutnt of product for an $8 shipping cost.
In our world and economy today, we want convenience and satisfaction for our dollar. Mobile beauty salons are a way to get what we want, when we want it.

Flat irons are the most used styling tool today. They range in price from $7.99 to $300 or more. Everyone has one or has used one. The reason I say "beware" is that they can be misused and overused. Trust me I have seen the damage they can cause. Some people use too high a tempurature for their hair type or just use them too often without protecting thier precious locks.
If you love the super straight and silky look, listen to me when I say MOISTURIZE. This means use heat protecting sprays before subjecting your strands to the high tempuratures. A gloss, shine, or syrum also works wonders. It keeps the moisture in as well as gives a high sheen when used after straightening.
Please people, don't be afraid of leave-in conditioners. For finer hair use the spray or liquid and for thicker hair use a creamier, thicker leave-in. This kind of protection will let you be able to grow your hair out with fewer trims in between.
Finally, don't straigten hair every day! This is key advice. No matter how strong you think your hair is, treat it gently. Every 2-3 days is enough. Learn to "wrap" your hair before you go to bed at night. This is a process of combing or brushing your hair in a circular motion around your head, securing with large bobby pins and completely covering your hair with a larg scarf. The result, if done right, is straight hair in the morning that will not require flat ironing for a week.
